Humanitarian Foundation BUDI HUMAN - Aleksandar Šapić
raises funds for Miluša Filko (1969).
Miluša was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013 and was treated at the Institut Sremska Kamenica. .
Four years later, the cancer returned in the form of liver and bone metastases. Chemotherapy and spinal radiation therapy followed. Spinal metastases have been inactive for two years, but the liver metastases are in progression. For three years, Miluša has been having chemotherapy or some form of hormone therapy. The disease is currently in progression again.
Because her body is too exhausted of a large number of chemotherapies, the only option is targeted liver radiation, stereotactic radiation, which is possible only abroad, specifically in Turkey.
Turkish doctors sent Miluša an affirmative response regarding the treatment, but she needs financial support for those interventions. Doctors agreed that targeted radiation would significantly affect the further struggle against this vicious disease.
Miluša needs money for emergency treatment and for accommodation costs during therapy. After radiation, it is planned to continue the chemotherapy in our country.
