Aleksandar found out that he suffered from wicked disease in September 2015. He accidentally spotted the node in the groin and went to an ultrasound where the doctor advised him to see an oncologist. He was scheduled for surgery in November of the same year  and the surgery determined it was a malignant melanoma.

In consultation with the doctor, he went for a PET scan. Findings showed that there were several more nodes in the groin and thigh muscles. Another surgery followed, but  without improvement, the disease returned again.

He was operated three more times at Hospital Bežanijska kosa and twice at the Military Medical Academy. As the disease began to spread, doctors suggested that he should continue the treatment  in Tubingen (Germany). Since February 2017, he has been going to that German clinic once a month for treatment and medical examinations. Until May this year the results were good and the disease was under control, however after the last scan it was found out that the disease started to progress again.

He is now waiting for immunotherapy, which is supposed to be received every 15 days the whole next year. Let's help this guy full of strength and will to live to win in this battle with a vicious disease and achieve his life goals and fulfill his greatest dream - to become a father.
