raises funds for Nikola Mitrović (1987).

Nikola suffered a severe car accident in USA, Miami on  20 March 2016. He was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury and the consequences were loss of all motor functions: swallowing, speaking, sitting, walking, hand moving.

He was treated in Miami until 12 June 2016  and then returned to Serbia where he continued treatment at a Rehabilitation Clinic in Novi Sad, where he still has treatment. As he was unable to get his feet full on the ground, in May 2017, he had surgery to extend both Achilles tendons.

After three years of persistent, daily exercise, various treatments and therapies, the condition has improved a lot, but he is still in wheelchairs and depends on all-day assistance from others. His biggest problem is his poor balance, which prevents him from walking independently.

Nikola graduated from the Faculty of Transport and finished Master Studies in Novi Sad at the Faculty of Technical Sciences. He has been training in karate for many years and has a black belt. He was an excellent student, hardworking, organized and responsible, so the current state where he depends a lot on others is unbearable for him, but at the same time it strongly motivates him to try any treatment that leads to his greater independence.

During a check-up at the Glavić Polyclinic in Zagreb, it was found out that robotics neurorehabilitation had the potential to recover him. Given that the cost of therapies and accommodation exceeds the financial capacity of the Mitrović family, they thus turn to good-willed people for help.
