raises funds for Iva Madžgalj (2016).

 

Iva was born after a regular pregnancy by a caesarean section because she was turned with the pelvis down. In 2016, after her birth, she was diagnosed with craniosynostosis and hydrocephalus. When she was two months old, she had craniosynostosis surgery and when she was  seven months old, she got a shunt installed due to hydrocephalus (collection of water in the brain ventricles).

 

She also has strabismus, for which she is scheduled for surgery in 2021. From the fourth month, she has been doing  exercises, because it has been determined that she has general hypotension of the  more severe degree. This condition affects her development, which is slowed down because of that - she still does not speak or walk on her own. All of these demand daily therapies  which have proven to be effective but require a lot of money.

In order to get better  it is necessary for Iva to go to special physiotherapies every day, with the necessary cooperation with a speech therapist and a special educator, in order to improve her development and enable her to live normally. She also needs funds for specialist examinations, treatment in spas and funds to cover travelling and accommodation costs.
