raises funds for Jovana Čutović (2014).

 

Jovana was born as a healthy girl and the youngest child in the family. Her development and progress proceeded normally until the eighteenth month. Since then, she stopped speaking and became uninterested in the environment.

 

She got sleep deprivation and lost interest in playing her favorite games with her sister and parents.

 

She has problems in nutrition, sleep, and communication with the environment. After much fear, consultation, examination and uncertainty, Jovana was diagnosed with autism.

 

Her parents have been working with her regularly for years and take her to therapeutic treatments by speech therapists and special educators. The whole family adjusts its rhythm to her needs, with great effort to fulfill regular school and business activities. She attends regular kindergarten.

 

Nowadays, Jovana likes to play with other children, loves her dog and understands the tasks that are set for her. She ignores them from time to time. She is now responding to her name and has regulated basic physiological functions. She wants to talk, pronounce voices, likes to sing children's songs and often invents words.

 

However, Jovana is still non-verbal, she can't say if something hurts her and she can't do it without support in almost all daily activities.

 

In order to become independent and be able to talk about her needs and feelings, she needs money for two stem cell transplantations at the Russian State Institute "Dynasty" in Samara, for travelling costs and accommodation, for laboratory analyzes, speech therapy and special education treatments, specialist and control examinations, for medicines, supplements and medical consumables too.

 

So far, the family has financed all therapies, treatments, work materials and supplements necessary for Jovana's development and progress, but the costs of the two transplantations exceed the parents' income.
