Uroš was born on 3 July 2012 in Belgrade. He was a healthy and advanced child who enjoyed growing up. Everything was fine until April this year, when Uroš's parents noticed an "incorrect walking", but they thought it was caused by his quick growth in a short period of time. However, Uroš complained of loss of strength, fatigue and tiredness. The mother noticed that his handwriting worsened, which was not typical for him.

Specialist examinations and diagnostics started.  The parents wandered together with Uroš from institution to institution, from doctor to doctor, trying to find out the cause. They reached the Emergency Center in Belgrade, where he had a head scan and was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor.

On 5 May 2021 Uroš was urgently operated on at the Clinic for Neurosurgery in Belgrade. The tumor was removed. Rehabilitation followed. On 6 June 2021 he started chemotherapy at the Institute of Oncology in Belgrade. In the meantime, another shock followed. The findings showed that Uroš had spinal metastases.

The last hope for Uroš to go for treatment and be cured is the Gustave Roussy Clinic. The clinic is located in France and has great success in treating this form of cancer.

The time is not on Uroš’s side! In order to go for treatment, he needs all of us because treatment is very expensive and the life of one child should not have a price.

The parents ask all humane people to help them so that Uroš can continue his treatment as soon as possible. He needs funds for treatment abroad and for travelling and accommodation costs.
