Iva was born on 29 August 2014 in Nis. She was the first child in the family born after a properly maintained pregnancy. Iva likes to ride horses and swim.

In 2019, the family faced shocking news when a medical examination detected that Iva had a large tumor under cerebellar tentorium (tent of the brain), as a consequence of the presence of a hydrocephalus tumor.

Iva did not have any symptoms, but unfortunately at one point her life was endangered and she was urgently transported to Belgrade.

The first operation was performed on 3 August 2019, at the Clinical Center in Belgrade, when a VP shunt was installed (to remove excess fluid from the brain), and which is still there.

The second operation was performed on 12 August  2019 when the tumor was removed.

It was a benign tumor, but since it was large, Iva is still not the girl who was before she found out she had a brain tumor. She feels good now. She has difficulty with the changing weather. She  regularly goes for check-ups.

She needs the funds for specialist and control examinations, as well as for travelling  and accommodation costs.
