Katarina was diagnosed with black malignant skin tumor (C.43 Melanoma malignum cutis) in October 2015, when she was operated on. Her condition was monitored and regularly controlled. In 2017, target changes  were observed in the right breast and igl in the right axilla, and in April 2018, target changes were also confirmed in the liver, lungs, igl and CNS . Katarina received 4 cycles of immunotherapy, gamma knife treatment was carried out in June 2018 and May 2019 due to planned radio neurosurgical treatment. She started treatment with immunotherapy in July 2018, and by July 2019 she received a total of 14 cycles. After the 13th cycle, the effect of therapy was evaluated as PR. During the follow-up MR examination in April 2019, progression was observed in the endocranium in the form of three new punctiform changes. The Gamma Knife Consilium indicated further follow-up. During the follow-up MR examination in October 2019, progression was observed in the endocranium in the form of new changes along with several other suspicious atypical changes. Due to the progression of the disease, Katarina was admitted to the Clinic for Medical Oncology in 2020 in accordance with the council's decision to continue treatment with the second cycle of immunotherapy. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, she was not examined for a year, and at the first follow-up in March 2021, none of the treated changes were in progression, all were in regression or stationary. In July 2022, for palliative reasons, surgical treatment in the breast tissue was indicated. In January 2023, predominantly osteolytic bone changes were observed.

Katarina plans to continue her treatment in Israel, for which she needs significant financial resources, so she is asking all generous people to help her so that she can continue her treatment as soon as possible.

Funds are needed for the continuation of treatment abroad, translation of medical documents, for medicines, laboratory analyses, specialist examinations, as well as for travel and accommodation costs during the treatment.
