Džaneta’s disease was discovered in August 2023, after which she was admitted to the Clinic for Maxillofacial Surgery of the Faculty of Dentistry in Belgrade for surgical treatment of a HP-verified tumor in the region of the angle and body of the lower jaw on the left side with a referral diagnosis of D16.5 Neoplasma benignum mandibulae (Benign tumor of the lower jaw).

The Collegium of the Clinic for MFH made a decision based on clinical-pathological-radiological correlation that segmental resection of the tumor and primary microvascular reconstruction were indicated, but due to the impossibility of performing the intervention there, she was referred to the Clinic for Burns, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, UCCS, where in January 2024 she was admitted to treatment. After the examination, it was concluded that for technical reasons, the intervention is postponed until the necessary technical preparation is ensured, considering the extensiveness of the intervention and preparation for it in terms of diagnostics and completion of the necessary parameters for the planning of reconstruction and remodeling, with the use of the necessary funds, which is why she sought help in private hospital.

Funds are needed for surgery and treatment costs in a private hospital, specialist examinations, laboratory analyses, medicines and medical consumables.
