raises funds for Mane Lukić (1988).

Mane was born on 24 January 1988 in Belgrade. He had a normal life, he was actively practising sports until 12 July 2021 when he suffered a serious car accident in which he suffered severe life-threatening injuries.

He was urgently transferred to the Emergency Center in Belgrade, where he was given first aid. He had multiple rib fractures, a pelvic fracture, a spinal cord and a bone pelvis fracture too. He suffered serial vertebral fractures.

On 13 July 2021 he had the first surgery (fracture operation), which had to be interrupted because pleural bilateral effusions on the lungs and a decrease in saturation. Pleural puncture was indicated and performed. A thoracic drain was placed.

Mane spent all his time in intensive care in the shock room.

On 28 July 2021, he had the second operation of fixation of thoracic vertebrae Th 6-10.

Mane's lower extremities were paralysed and he was diagnosed with paraplegia. After 2 months of treatment and a fight for life in the Emergency Center, rehabilitation followed in the institution "Dr Miroslav Zotović" in Sokobanjska in Belgrade, which is still in progress.

In order to walk again and return to his old way of living, Mane needs another operation in Thailand. He should go for it as soon as possible while the injuries are fresh.

He needs funds for treatment, surgery, travelling  and accommodation costs.
