Humanitarian Foundation BUDI HUMAN - Aleksandar Šapić
raises funds for Nikolija Jovanović (2014).
Nikolija was born in the seventh month and spent 45 days in an incubator as a premature baby. At birth, she had brain hemorrhage when cysts were formed on the brain.
Five months she had convulsions and soon after that she was diagnosed with West Syndrome, the most severe form of epilepsy, which left the consequences. One of the severe consequences is an atrophy of the eye nerves. Every six months she is doing the VEP test because Nikolija did not see absolutely anything at first, and as time passes, she now discovers the figures she sees in contours.
Since last year, Nikolija she got seizures again, which only occurred when she had a fever. Since June, she has had three epileptic seizures, one lasted for four hours.
In addition to all the problems that are caused by premature birth, Nicolija's main diagnosis is cerebral palsy. She does not walk, does not sit, but she is intellectually preserved and she can speak a few words.
We enable this amiable girl to develop like all of her peers by raising donations for rehabilitation, surgery, orthopedic aids, and for the hippo and hydro therapy too.
