Humanitarian Foundation BUDI HUMAN - Aleksandar Šapić
raises funds for Filip Radojičić (2014).
Filip is a happy boy who smiles every morning at his parents. He loves when his mother reads stories, and he loves to watch Formula 1 with his dad.
What Filip distinguishes from the majority of his peers is that on the third day, after difficult birth, he had neonatal convulsions so he had a diffuse oxygen therapy. Due to hypoxia, his brain was damaged , and as a consequence, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, the most severe one, the fifth degree of the motor dysfunction.
Filip is a mentally preserved child, very curious and likes to learn, but he is still unable to walk, sit or use his own hands. Regardless of the problem he has, he is a very persistent and hard working boy. With his mother and his therapists, who help him with exercise, he exercises six hours a day. Although the process is slow, there is a progress - he starts slowly to use his hands, and he is the happiest when he manages to bring the spoon to his mouth and take a snack.
Doctors and his parents hope that one day, with the planned therapies, he will be able to sit without support and use his hands. But rehabilitation treatments and aids for children with this type of problem are extremely expensive. Let's help Filip to join his friends in play, as soon as possible.
