Humanitarian Foundation BUDI HUMAN - Aleksandar Šapić
raises funds for Ana (2007) i Aleksa (2006) Arsić.
Aleksa was born as the fourth child in the family, from regular and controlled pregnancy that ended in the seventh month. His family was worried while Aleksa was in the incubator. Immediate preventive exercises and spa treatment were initiated. Greatly worried about Aleksa, the parents were not even aware that another member would join them soon.
Due to complications in pregnancy, Ana prematurely came to the world and she also spent some time in the incubator as her brother. The family was shaken again, experiencing
fears and hopes that everything would be alright. But as life is not a fairy tale, their hopes were in vain. Ana is also diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
At that time, Aleksa could not sit, turn neither to stand on his feet, but Ana’s condition in general was better. While she was about to make the first step in her eighteenth months, Aleksa cried from his bed at her to sit down because he was afraid she would fall.
Prescribed exercises and spa treatment gave positive results - Aleksa made his first steps when he was almost four years old.
Ana and Aleksa have been fighting for a better future, for a life without pain and a life in which they will somehow be able to be equal with their peers. In front of them is a period of hard work and exercise in order to gain the conditions for an operation that gives them great hope that they will walk without pain.
