raises funds for Vuk Huljić (1988).

On 21 October 2017. Vuk could not even imagine that he would experience a fall from a height of 3.60 meters at work. He injured his spine, broke the vertebrae TH12 and L1, and crushed his spinal cord. He was paralysed with a diagnosis of Paraplegia Flaccida G82.0. Since then, he cannot feel his legs at all.

Before the accident, Vuk was healthy, active in various sports and he lived like all young people of his age.

After the accident, he spent a year in a public hospital and then he continued physical therapy at the private clinic. Despite all this, Vuk is still unable to perform basic life functions independently: bodily functions, dressing, walking, getting into bed, getting up ... His hips are ossified, which further limits his movements and body flexion, so he completely depends on his family.

From the moment when the accident happened, his family struggles to improve the quality of Vukf's life and to find a way to make his life easier.

He finally found a hospital in Puhua, Beijing, China, where implantation of fetal stem cells is performed. Doctors from the clinic claim that after the surgery, they guarantee the restoration of sensitivity and bladder control, and the motor skills may be restored too.

Since surgery is very expensive and he will need to have also a hip surgery so that he can be more flexible and independent, Vuk asks all the good and humane people to help make his dream come true - to get back on his feet and to continue the life he had before his injury, to be happy and to rejoice in his family.

Vuk exercises hard every day hoping to succeed, and that persistence and faith will overcome this condition. He is boldly pursuing this goal and therefore needs our support and help.

Vuk needs funds for in-country treatment, operations, orthopedic aids, for rehabilitation, as well as travel and accommodation expenses.
