Humanitarian Foundation BUDI HUMAN - Aleksandar Šapić
raises funds for Kristina Džinović (2014).
Kristina was diagnosed with malignant brain tumor, glioblastoma, gradus IV.
Kristina was born in 2014. Pregnancy was regular, natural, without problems. Everything was fine, a period of happy growing up followed.
The first problems emerged in March 2019, when she began to vomit. The doctors thought it was an ordinary virus. Two days after that, her right arm began to shake so that she was sent to a neurologist. After the head scanner was completed, Kristina's life and the life of her family have radically changed.
The scanner showed a brain tumor. She was sent to the Clinical Center of Serbia, to the neurosurgery department, where MR was done. The VP shunt was placed immediately, and two weeks later she had a tumor operation. Histopathology was in favor of glioblastoma, gradus IV, the most severe form of brain tumor.
Kristina is currently at the Institute of Oncology, where she is waiting to begin chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Her condition has changed drastically from surgery, she is sleepy and tired. The doctor's prognosis in Serbia are not consoling or acceptable to her parents.
The only hope for Kristina is treatment abroad, but this treatment demands significant amount of money. Therefore, the parents believe in the humanity and goodness of the kind-hearted people, who will help her in taking this terrible diagnosis away from her little life.
Kristina has an older brother, who can hardly wait for his sister to come home and be a happy and healthy girl again.
