Humanitarian Foundation BUDI HUMAN - Aleksandar Šapić
raises funds for Filip Krivokuća (2015).
Filip was prematurely born in the 32nd week of pregnancy. In the third month, the doctor noted that Filip was not following moving objects with his eyes and sent him for further examinations. A few months later, magnetic resonance of a head confirmed that Filip could not see.
When he was six months old, he had his first epileptic seizure, and his parents also noticed that he had a delay in motor skills and took him to the Special Hospital for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Neurology in Belgrade for exercises. Filip cannot sit, walk and talk. He is completely dependent on someone else's help. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of one.
At the age of two, he was taken to Russia, where Filip had eyeball surgery and he was advised to continue treatment at the Elixir Clinic in Novi Sad, where he had eye stimulation - laser acupuncture - in order to help Filip develop eyesight.
Regular physical therapy and eye stimulation are necessary to improve Filip's condition. For that reason parents ask for the help of generous people in order to provide Filip with all needed therapy to make improvements.
Our little help means a lot to Filip! Let's be humane!
