Humanitarian Foundation BUDI HUMAN - Aleksandar Šapić
raises funds for Stefan Veljković (2007).
Stefan was born as the first twin, with 1500 grams in the 31st week of pregnancy. The other boy lived only a month and unfortunately, passed away.
Immediately after his birth, he was transferred to neonatology, because he was born prematurely and had a surgery in the eighteenth day of his life. He was installed a pump for collecting excess cerebrospinal fluid in the brain, due to bleeding of the third to fourth degree, and he was diagnosed with hydrocephalus.
When he was eight months old, epileptic seizures began, and later status epilepticus too so he was diagnosed with epilepsy.
He has cerebral palsy since birth, he cannot walk independently, sit or eat on his own. He has recently been given PEG, through which he is fed directly in his stomach. He doesn't speak, but he understands everything.
Due to the situation that Stefan's dad had heart surgery, he has four bypasses, only his mom is employed, and Stefan has a sister and a brother who are healthy so they need our help to provide him with everything he needs to make his life easier.
Stefan needs funds for orthopedic aids, work with a therapist, spa treatments, specialist examinations, supplements, medical consumables, operations travel expenses and accommodation abroad.
