raises funds for Danka Đuričković (1983).

Danka  was born on 14 May 1983 in Belgrade. She has been visually impaired since childhood due to congenital cataracts on her left eye. A  year ago, she was diagnosed with Dg. H35.5 Dystrophia retinae hereditaria (progressive and severe, hereditary eye disease, which may ultimately lead to complete loss of vision).

The disease narrows the field of vision. There is no therapy or surgery in Serbia that would help her. Only gene therapy can help Danka, but she has just entered the procedure for genetic testing and it will be at the end of this year.

Until then, the only way to prevent the progression of the disease is to go to Cuba, where doctors perform operations and therapies that have shown great success with patients with this diagnosis. In order to go to Cuba for surgery, Danka needs our help.

Danka needs funds  surgery, rehabilitation, specialist and control examinations, travelling and accommodation costs.
