Yugoslav was involved in a severe traffic accident after falling from a motorcycle and sustained multiple injuries to the spine, chest, and skull, which left him confined to a wheelchair. The following diagnoses were established: fracture and dislocation of the thoracic vertebrae Th9/10 with a comminuted fracture of Th10 (Fractura/luxatio vertebrarum Th9/10 cum fractura comminutiva Th10), paraplegia of the lower extremities (Paraplegia inferior), right-sided hemothorax (Haemothorax lateris dextri), fracture of the right scapula (Fractura scapulae dextrae), fracture of the right 9th rib (Fractura costae IX dextrae), traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage (Haemorrhagia subarachnoidalis traumatica), and multiple fractures of the frontal and temporal skull bones (Fractura ossis frontalis et temporalis multifragmentaris).

Although the accident did not occur at high speed or due to reckless driving, but at approximately 30 km/h, the consequences are severe and permanent.

According to doctors, stem cell treatment could give Yugoslav a significant chance of walking again. The family is asking for help from compassionate people through donations so that Yugoslav can return to a normal life, which was abruptly interrupted in 2013 when the accident occurred.

Funds are needed for stem cell treatments, medical care, and travel expenses.
