raises funds for Vuk Vasić (2018).

Vuk Vasić was born on 28 September  2018, prematurely in the 31st  week of pregnancy.

Immediately after his birth, he was transferred  to the clinic for children's internal diseases, to the neonatal intensive care unit in Nis.

He spent 17 days there connected to mechanical ventilation because his lungs were underdeveloped.

He had left-sided complete pneumothorax, cerebral hemorrhage, retinopathy, atrial septal defect and bronchopulmonary dysplasia.

When he was 14 months old, he had magnetic resonance imaging of the endocranium, which showed that he had periventricular leukomation.

Final diagnoses at discharge were: G801- (Paralysis cerebralis spastica diplegia), H50- (Strabismus alius) and bronchopulmonary dysplasia.

The mental structure is completely preserved and the motor skills of the hands, but it is necessary to work on improving fine motor skills.

Vuk is being treated at the Special Hospital for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Neurology in Belgrade.

During the treatment there has been some progress, he is able to crawl, but he cannot get into a sitting position, nor can he stand or walk.

He needs funds for rehabilitation, physical treatments, orthopedic aids, specialist and control examinations, special education and speech therapy treatments.
