Vladimir was born on 6 August 2020 after a properly maintained and controlled pregnancy.

In the eighth month of pregnancy, a regular examination showed that the child had an enlargement of the lateral ventricles (ventriculomegalia), as well as a delay in development.

From the fifth day of his life, Vladimir has been treated at the Institute for Mother and Child in Belgrade, where he was diagnosed with the presence of cytomegalovirus  and diagnosed with: Microcephaly, Ventriculomegalia and Infection cytomegalovirus congenital.

He is also being treated at the Rehabilitation Clinic Dr. Miroslav Zotović, where he was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy (G80), specifically Tetraplegia spastica (G82.4)

Vladimir has emphasized hypertension (spasm), which in combination with hypotonia prevents him from sitting independently and performing any activity in accordance with his age. Spasm in the muscles, especially in the hands, despite his great desire, prevents him from playing and catching objects and hinders his psychomotor development.

He also has a problem with feeding because he is not able to swallow normally, and he also needs a special diet to balance its metabolism. He goes to special education and speech therapy treatments every day, where he gets nutrition therapy that slowly gives results, so he progresses in that field and gains weight and strength.

Despite all the diagnoses, Vlada is a cheerful, bright and always smiling boy who enjoys watching his older brother, with whom he likes to "communicate" the most.

Funds are needed for daily intensive physical, special education and speech therapy, laboratory analysis, genetic testing, spa treatment, hydrotherapy, rehabilitation at home and abroad, medicines, vitamins, supplements, medical supplies, therapy supplies, travel expenses and accommodation.

Vladimir needs the help of all of us in order to continue his treatment!
