Kenan was prematurely born on 29 January 2014 in Kragujevac, in the eighth month, from a twin pregnancy.

He was born out of oxygen and was resuscitated. After a month spent in an incubator, he was discharged home without a diagnosis.

At the age of less than two, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the Institute for Mother and Child in Belgrade. Since then, Kenan's struggle has begun in the form of constant physical therapy and hospital treatment.

In 2017, Kenan had a rhizotomy intervention for the first time in Istanbul with the aim to start  walking. After that, two more interventions were performed, neurological and orthopedic.

Kenan still has difficulties with walking and speaking so he needs intensive physical therapy, speech therapy and special education treatments, spa treatment, as well as constant check-ups in Istanbul to continue the treatment.
