raises funds for Maja Škoflek (1992)

Maja was born on 19 May 1992. 

She lived a normal life until September 2019, when she was diagnosed with Dg. Sclerosis multiplex G35, multiple sclerosis (a disease of the central nervous system where the immune system destroys its own tissues. People with MS may lose the ability to walk independently or walk at all)

It turned out that Maja had the disease 10 years before the diagnosis, but it was inactive, although it negatively affected her central nervous system.

Unfortunately, the disease became progressive after she was diagnosed with it. There was a deterioration in vision, balance and walking. The disease is accompanied by a tremor, which further complicates not only walking but also performing daily activities.

Exploring ways to stop the progression of the disease, Maja got in touch with the Pirogov Medical Center in Moscow, which performs HSCT therapies and has great success with MS patients.

Maja needs funds for the intervention that needs to be carried out abroad at the beginning of May 2022, as well as for travelling and accommodation costs.
