raises funds for Marko Kovandžić (1986).
In March 2021, Marko had a traffic accident, he was a pedestrian. He was immediately
intubated and connected to mechanical ventilation. He spent 28 days in a coma.
During the accident, he suffered a fracture of the spine, an open fracture of the head, a
hematoma in the brain and cerebellum, 9 broken ribs due to which he was unable to breathe
so he was intubated.
He was operated on the spine and throat, and the decubitus was healed. After the operation,
Markos lower extremities were paralised and he was not able to move them. He has a
catheter and uses diapers. Doctors recommend surgery and rehabilitation in Turkey so that
Marko would be able to take care of himself.
Marko needs funds to continue treatment in Turkey, for rehabilitation, surgery, stimulation,
physiotherapy, medical supplies, diapers, kinesitherapy, for travelling and accommodation
costs.
