raises funds for Stefana Devića (2020)

Stefan was born prematurely in the 31st week of gestation. The entire pregnancy was managed as high-risk with hospitalization.

Stefan was breathing on his own after birth, he was in the incubator for several days with a little added oxygen.

Everything indicated that he would leave the hospital without a diagnosis, but after a month the doctors determined that he had PVL cysts caused by bleeding in the brain. Since leaving the maternity ward, he has been treated at the Special Hospital for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Neurology and the Clinic for Neurology and Psychiatry for Children and Youth. Before his first birthday, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

Stefan still does not turn from his back to his stomach, does not sit, crawl, speak and he has hearing impairment and strabismus.

In order to be able to stand on his feet, many different therapies are needed.

He needs funds for stem cell treatments, physical therapy, rehabilitation, speech therapy and defectology treatments, surgical interventions, equipment for exercising at home, ophthalmological aids, specialist examinations, accommodation and travel expenses in the country and abroad.

His family is asking all humane people to help Stefan have a dignified and fulfilling life one day.
