Lena was born after a properly maintained and controlled pregnancy.

At two and a half months she had an ear infection, after which her condition worsened.

Her diagnosis is cerebral palsy and epilepsy.

She was treated at the Institute for Mother and Child Health Care "Dr. Vukan Čupić" and then at the Neurology and Psychiatry Clinic for Children and Youth.

Adequate therapy was found to help Lena, but the previous seizures left major consequences. She started walking at the age of three, she still doesn't speak, but she understands everything.

In addition to epilepsy, Lena has a large dioptre, which is why she will have to undergo an operation to remove the dioptre and strabismus.

She needs funds for intensive defectological and speech therapy treatments, ophthalmological examinations, specialist examinations as well as for laboratory analyses.
