At the age of six, she was diagnosed with diabetes. She had sepsis three times because of the wrong treatment. Doctor claimed that she was not able to conceive. However, Tihana got pregnant at the time of the global pandemic. With pregnancy, the already existing diagnoses were followed by new ones. Hospitalization was the only solution. Because of six diagnoses, she was isolated in a hospital room. For months, the complications did not stop. Every week, the medical advisory board advised her to terminate the pregnancy, to choose between the child and her life, but she chose the child's life.

She also beat the coronavirus, but her kidneys began to fail. Due to bad blood vessels, they could not place an AV fistula for dialysis. As a method of treatment, they recommended peritoneal dialysis. Two attempts, inserting and removing the catheter, through the stomach four times - it didn't work. The only solution was to place a Hickman catheter under the right clavicle, which is a very temporary and last dialysis method. At any moment the catheter could stop working and that would be fatal for Tihana. While some people can spend years on dialysis, Tihana, only after a year, has numerous complications, bleeding and other problems, thus every dialysis is a big risk that it will be the last one.

Tihana was offered the chance for a kidney transplantation by a clinic from abroad, to which she needs to go as soon as possible, and for that she needs the help of all of us.

She needs funds for treatment, kidney transplantation and travelling costs.
