raises funds for Darija Tašković (2018)

Darija is a child from a properly managed and controlled pregnancy.

At the age of two, she was diagnosed with a rare diagnosis of septo-optic dysplasia, due to which she has severe damage to the optic nerve in both eyes.

Optic nerve surgeries are not available at clinics in Serbia and the region.

The only hope for Darija to see better is the "Russian Center for Eye and Plastic Surgery" in Russia, where they inject alloplants to regenerate damaged tissue.

Darija visited a clinic in Russia last year where she had two operations. She was advised to go to the clinic a few more times so that progress could be seen.

Darija’s visual impairment caused slow development, so she needs daily stimulating speech therapy and defectology treatments, which require large expenses.

Despite the problems she is going through, Darija is a cheerful and playful girl who loves socialising, music and playing.

Funds are needed for operations, speech therapy and defectology treatments, laboratory analyses, medicines, supplements, translation services, as well as for travelling and accommodation costs during treatment.
