During the birth, Damjan ran out of oxygen due to a difficult birth and the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck.

In the first hours, he was transferred to the "Dr. Vukan Čupić" Institute for Mother and Child Health Care, where hypothermia was induced.

MRI showed severe brain damage caused by lack of oxygen.

Damjan is being treated at a children's neurology clinic for epilepsy, and at a special hospital for cerebral palsy and neurological development.

Very early, from the second month, he started with daily exercises and visiting a speech therapist for the necessary feeding therapies.

Until now, his family has financed the treatment alone and exhausted its resources, so it is asking all generous people to help him so that he can continue with the treatment.

He needs funds for physical therapy, speech therapy and defectology treatments, MRI diagnostics and specialist examinations.
