raises funds for Mihailo Knežević (2010)

Mihailo was a healthy and happy child until the beginning of this year when, during the winter vacation, he became weak, had a high fever, inflamed lymph glands with a bad blood count, and received a frightening diagnosis - acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.

Treatment started immediately at University Children’s Hospital Tiršova. Mihailo had a hard time enduring every chemotherapy. After the second cycle, he got sepsis as well as acute pancreatitis so he fought for his life.

The medical advisory board decided that Mihailo urgently needed a stem cell transplantation abroad.

Until now, his family has financed the treatment and exhausted all resources, so they are asking all generous people to help them with their donations so that Mihailo can go to treatment as soon as possible.

Funds are needed for stem cell transplants, chemotherapy, travel and accommodation costs.
