Milena was born with a diagnosis of Arthrogryposis multiplex congenita - neuropathic type, with a negative prognosis that there will be changes over time compared to the initial condition.

Given that her mental structure is completely preserved, the problem is the locomotor system, which includes the muscles of the arms, and especially the legs. Despite the reduced muscle tone, she uses her hands to eat, write and type on the keyboard, but she does not walk and uses a wheelchair.

Milena was an excellent student, she graduated from the Gymnasium in Kraljevo with an average of 5.00 and is studying two departments at the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad, but due to financial problems she was forced to take a one-year break. She also speaks English, German and Spanish.

Every day, Milena faces numerous difficulties in terms of living and mobility, but she makes maximum efforts and achieves results in all the tasks that life sets before her.

In order to continue studying and overcoming obstacles, it is necessary that her physical condition does not disturb her intellectual and mental being.

For this purpose, she needs funds to purchase orthotics and an electric wheelchair.
