raises funds for Viktor Putica (2022)

Viktor suffers from a rare genetic disease called epidermolysis bullosa, popularly known as "butterfly children'' disease.

Due to the nature of the disease, Viktor's parents were faced with very expensive treatment costs that required daily, very complicated, care (special bandages, creams, clothing, nutrition) as well as specialist medical examinations. Victor's daily life is full of open wounds all over his body and mucous membranes. Dressing, which must be performed every day, lasts an average of 2 to 5 hours, and is necessary to prevent complications caused by infections, which in this condition can be fatal.

Since the disease is unfortunately terminal (with an average life expectancy of less than 30 years), significant financial resources are needed for the therapy, which will be applied in the USA from 19th  May 2023. The funds must be raised as soon as possible. His parents claim that the price of this therapy is estimated at 635,000 US dollars annually, excluding hospital costs and other accompanying costs of treatment and examinations. All these costs exceed Viktor’s family income, so they are asking all generous people to help with their donations so that Viktor can receive the necessary therapy as soon as possible.

Funds are needed for therapy and costs of hospital treatment abroad, medical consumables (special bandages and plasters, medical cosmetics), genetic analyses, travel and accommodation costs during the  hospital treatment.
