Genetic counseling and analyzes done due to deviations in development, confirmed the presence of genetic variants associated with his phenotype, he has two autosomal recessive gene mutations, namely:

1. Treacher Collins syndrome 3 - mutation that is autosomal recessive and leads to hypomyelinating leukodystrophy and disorders of intellectual development and

2. Vulto-van Silfhout-de Vries Syndrome - a mutation that is autosomal recessive and causes neurological disorders in development with hypotonia and logo retardation, sensory disorders, behavioral and attention disorders, facial dysmorphia and brain anomalies.

In addition to all that, Leo also has kidney problems.

Parents were informed that the disease was very rare and incurable, but the development of the disease can be mitigated and slowed down by stem cell treatments and other types of therapy.

His family is asking  all generous people to help with  their donations so that Leo can live happily like his peers.

The funds are needed for surgical treatment, equine-assisted therapy, dolphin-assisted therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, stem cell treatment, specialist medical examinations, laboratory tests, therapeutic horseback riding, the Tomatis Method, neurofeedback therapy, spa treatment and rehabilitation, physical therapy, speech therapy and special education treatments, kidney treatment, sensory stimulation through a sensory room, as well as travel and accommodation expenses during treatment.
