Nikolina is the second child, born after a properly maintained pregnancy.

After birth, she was treated at the Institute of Neonatology in Belgrade.

During her hospitalization at the Institute of Neonatology, she was diagnosed with progressive dilatation of the ventricular system, and on 19 March 2009 she was installed with a VP shunt.

Nikolina was diagnosed with cerebral palsy in the special hospital for cerebral palsy and developmental neurology (G.80).

In March 2014, she was operated on at University Children’s Hospital Tiršov.

Nikolina understands orders and executes them in accordance with her motor abilities, her speech is dysarthric. She still does not walk independently and is dependent on other people's help.

A team of Russian doctors who have been successfully working with such cases for years believe that recovery is expectable after surgical intervention.

She needs funds for fibrotomy surgery, rehabilitation, physical therapy and orthopedic aids.
