Saša's love for people made him successfully finish his medical studies. After finishing his studies, he started a family, worked and lived in Kosovska Mitrovica and had a normal life until July 2021, when his lower limbs were paralysed.

NMR revealed the existence of a very rare arterio-venous malformation at the level of the 4th thoracic vertebra. He underwent emergency surgery at the Neurosurgery Department of the Clinical Center of Serbia in Belgrade.

The condition was complicated by pulmonary thromboembolism and sepsis. After 40 days of battling for life, Saša was transferred to the "Dr. Miroslav Zotović" Rehabilitation Clinic in Belgrade, where he spent 6 months and strengthened his shoulders and arms. He spent months in spa treatment. There was no progress.

After a consultation with the doctor, Saša was offered rehabilitation, with the help of neurorobotics, in order to recover and be able to live independently.

He needs funds for specialist examinations, therapies, treatments, medicines and supplements, medical consumables and spa treatment.
