raises funds for Vuk Jovanović (2019)

Vuk was born in the 32nd week of gestation after a properly maintained twin pregnancy.

He was born as the older twin, weighing 2 kg, he cried loudly and was graded with 9, however, 4 hours after his birth, Vuk fell into respiratory distress and had to be intubated.

After spending a month in the hospital in Višegradska, he was discharged as a healthy baby together with his twin brother.

After Vuk's sixth month, a significant deviation from his brother's development was noticed. An ultrasound of the head showed that premature birth and respiratory distress unfortunately left consequences, the white matter of the brain showed a reduction, the brain parenchyma showed a thinning of the corpus callosum, while at the age of two he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

Vuk still cannot sit, crawl, walk, talk, or play with his brother, but he is always cheerful and smiling. He has been exercising a lot, but there is also a lot of improvement too! Vuk's family has exhausted all funds for the continuation of therapy. Exercise gives progress, and that's why Vuk needs the help of generous people so that he can run with his twin brother one day. 

He needs funds for stem cell treatments, physical therapy, speech therapy and defectology treatments, hippotherapy, laboratory analyses, specialist examinations, orthopedic aids as well as for travelling and accommodation costs during treatment.
