In July 2019, Svetlana operated on a tumor of the left lower leg at the Banjica Institute for Orthopedic Surgical Diseases in Belgrade, and the final PH result showed that the operation was performed on a malignant mesenchymal tumor of the mesenchymal chondrosarcoma type. She had chemotherapy at the Institute of Oncology in Kamenica until November 2019, after which she went for regular control specialist examinations, and there were no signs of local recurrence with further regression of postoperative changes, the last  examination was performed on 31 January 2022.

Three years later, in November 2022,  pathological changes on the chest were detected after scanner and biopsy, it was discovered that Svetlana had a lung metastasis of the previously diagnosed mesenchymal chondrosarcoma.

Since the change was near a large blood vessel, it was necessary to react urgently, so Svetlana went to Turkey for precise radiation. With the help of relatives, her family has managed to collect money for Svetlana's treatment in Turkey so far, but for the continuation of the treatment, she needs the help of everyone who can help.

Funds are needed for continued treatment abroad, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation therapy, medical tests and diagnostics, specialist examinations and consultations, medicines and supplements, laboratory analysis as well as for travelling and accommodation costs during treatment.
