raises funds for Stefan Mitov (2017)

Stefan's parents noticed the first signs of deviation in development when he was one and a half years old, and in the later development they noticed that he does not make eye contact,  communicate,  respond, point or have joint attention, that he is effectively coordinated but  gets irritated after a while,  has stereotyped behavior and a low degree of adaptability.

After specialist examinations, Stefan was diagnosed with - F84.0 Childhood autism (Autismus puerilis), F84 Pervasive developmental disorders (Disordines evolutionis pervasive) and F79.9 Mental retardation, unspecified -  behavioral disorder was not noted (Retardatio mentalis, non specificata).

The treatment started at the Institute for Psychophysiological Disorders and Speech Pathology, prof. Dr. Cvetko Brajović, where he attended speech therapy treatments, occupational therapy, defectology treatments and worked with a pedagogue.

The only hope for Stefan's parents are stem cell treatments, that will stimulate psychomotor and speech development and will alleviate the symptoms of the disease and improve his quality of life with intensive treatments that are extremely expensive.

Stefan needs funds for stem cell treatments, specialist examinations and laboratory analyses, so his parents are asking all people, who are able, to help so that Stefan can be able to speak as soon as possible.
