Danijel has polycystic kidney disease. In the family history of the medical records, it was stated that Danijel's mother had polycystic kidneys too, so according to him, he inherited the disease. His basic diagnosis is chronic kidney disease of the 5th degree (N18.5 Morbus renalis chronicus, grade 5) with accompanying diagnoses: kidney damage with a severe decrease in glomerular filtration rate (N18.4 Morbus renalis chronicus, grade 4), anemia in chronic kidney diseases (D63.8 Anaemia in morbis chronicis aliis, alibi classificatis), polycystic kidney, autosomal dominant (Q61.2 Ren polycystus, autosomaticus dominantus) and increased blood pressure, of unknown origin (I10 Hypertensio arterialis essentialis (primaria).

He started treatment 5 years ago, and in the last 3 months his condition has significantly worsened, which is why he was hospitalized in March 2023 to prepare for inclusion in a chronic hemodialysis program.

Danijel wants to continue his treatment at a clinic in Belarus where it is possible to perform a kidney transplant, but for that he needs significant financial resources, which he is unable to provide, so he needs the help of all generous people.

He needs funds for specialist examinations, kidney transplantation, as well as for travelling and accommodation costs during the treatment.
