In August 2022, Isidora suffered an injury to her chest, neck and the spine when she was crushed by a forklift at her workplace, as a result of which she became immobile, lost her sight and the ability to breathe independently. She was diagnosed with: fracture of the second cervical vertebra (S12.1 Fracture vertebrae cervicalis secundae), flaccid paralysis of all limbs (G82.3 Tetraplegia flaccida), multiple rib fractures (S22.4 Fracturae costarum serialis I.dex, I-V), chest contusion (S20.2 Contusio pulmonum), acute respiratory insufficiency (J96.0 Insufficientia respiratoria acuta), pneumothorax (J93.9 Pneumothorax minima), fracture of the scapula (S42.1 Fractura corporis scapulae dex), Shock spinalis R57.8, pleural effusion ( J90 Effusio pleurae dex), retinal hemorrhage (H368 Haemorrhagia retinalis o.dex.).

The treatment started at the University Clinical Center of Vojvodina emergency center, and after the stabilization of the condition due to the operative treatment, she was transferred to the University Clinical Center of Serbia, after which the treatment continued again in the University Clinical Center of Vojvodina. Due to the inability to breathe on her own, Isidora is still on mechanical ventilation, and due to her immobility and overall condition, therapists are also involved.

In contact with a clinic abroad, her parents decided that Isidora would continue her treatment there so that she could be switched off the respirator and continue to breathe independently. She needs spinal cord diagnostics to find out if her immobility is temporary or permanent, as well as examinations related to the possibility of regaining her sight. In addition, it is necessary to rehabilitate decubitus caused by lying position for a long time, rehabilitation, specialist examinations, laboratory analyses, medicines, orthopedic aids, travelling and accommodation costs during the treatment.
