At the regular annual examination In October 2022, a change was noticed on the skin of the back, after which Nina was referred to the Military Medical Academy to have it removed.

The operation was performed in February 2023.

According to the HP finding, it was observed that it was a malignant skin melanoma  (Dg. C435 – Melanoma malignum trunci).

Shortly after that, a medical advisory board indicated reexcision of the skin sector and a biopsy of the sentinel's lymph node, where, according to the obtained Ph results, it was determined that metastases of the primary disease spread.

As medicines for stage III of this malignant disease are not available at the expense of the Republic Fund of Health Insurance, doctors suggested, in addition to regular checks for three months, that she should consider the applying adjuvant therapy at her expense, in order to prevent the progression of the disease and the spread of metastases to internal organs.

In order to continue her treatment as soon as possible, Nina needs the help of all generous people; their donations are crucial.
