raises funds for Nađa Obradović(2020)

Nađa was diagnosed immediately after birth with a disease - recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa, generalised severe form (Q81.2 Epidermolysis bullosa hereditaria dystrophica recessive), for that reason, she was immediately referred to the University Children's Clinic Tiršova, where she was in a stable condition during her hospitalisation (February 6-April 2, 2020)  and was eating well despite erosions in the oral cavity, and due to anaemia she was treated with transfusions of concentrated erythrocytes and albumin replacement. There she had regular dressings and application of local and general antibiotic therapy.

 Her parents abandoned her and refused to be the guardians immediately after she was diagnosed. In 2021, she was put in a foster family, and until then she was hospitalised in several health institutions (UCC Tiršova, Hospital Čačak, CCV UVC). During the treatment, physical therapy was suggested in order to rehabilitate the contracture in the ankle joint. The passage of the oesophagus and gastroduodenum was performed at the end of January 2022, and due to the stenosis of the oesophagus, she underwent surgery in May 2023 at the clinic in Salzburg with the aim of expanding the oesophagus, for which part of the funds were provided by the local administration of the city of Čačak and the businessmen from Čačak, and the remaining part by foster mother.

Nađa was hospitalised several times to reduce anaemia, and the use of bandages were recommended to prevent fusion of the fingers with intensive skin treatment and generalised erosions.  Due to the deformity of the left foot and the inability to walk independently, it is recommended to wear orthopaedic aids, which cannot be used due to skin damage. She needs a high-calorie and high-protein diet as well as regular check-ups.

There is a company "Krystal Biotech" in America that produces the medicine "Vyuvek" that can significantly improve the quality of life of people with this disease, but it requires significant financial resources, which Nađa's foster mother, who is also her guardian, is unable to provide, so she is asking for help from all generous people, to enable Nađa to live without pain.

Funds are needed for treatment abroad, additional medical services, specialist examinations, travelling and accommodation costs.
