In January 2022, Maja was diagnosed with two tumors on the large intestine, and soon after with metastases on the liver, ovaries, lymph nodes and abdominal tissue. The disease was discovered after examinations, after she felt  pain and burning in the abdomen, cramps, aversion to food and weight loss. She ws diagnosed with C18.3 Adenocarcinoma mucinosum int.crassi No II G2 pT4aN2bM1c-HIS-H,RAS wild type, HER 2-/(coeci et coli transversi), C78.7 Secondary malignant tumor of the liver and intrahepatic bile ducts (Neoplasma malignum secundarium hepatis et ducti biliferi intrahepatici), C78.6 Secondary malignant tumor of the peritoneum (Neoplasma malignum secundarium peritonaei).

The operation removed the large intestine, both ovaries and a large number of affected lymph nodes. After that, she received 4 cycles of chemotherapy, none of which helped because disease spread  with metastases in the lungs, bones, bladder and uterus.

Based on the knowledge that this type of tumor can be helped by immunotherapy, which can only be received in a private clinic, Maja got a glimmer of hope that she could defeat this vicious disease. She should receive immunological therapy every 21 days, for a minimum of 2 years, the price of which is extremely high, so she needs the help of humane people in order to start treatment as soon as possible.

She needs funds for immunotherapy, laboratory analyses, specialist examinations, radiation therapy, travel and accommodation costs during the treatment.
