raises funds for Dejan Babić (1975)

In July 2022, Dejan suffered an injury to the cervical part of the spine when he fell from a tree. After the injury, he was initially examined in the General hospital in Prokuplje, after that he was cared for in the University Clinical Center in Niš, and then referred to the Department of Spine Surgery of the UC UCCS, where, after specialist examinations he was diagnosed with: Dislocations of the cervical vertebra (S13.1 Luxatio vertebrae cervicalis), flaccid paralysis of all limbs (G82.3 Tetraplegia flaccida/Quadriparesis) and spastic (convulsive) paralysis of all limbs (G82.4 Tetraplegia spastica) by an orthopedist, eventually operative treatment is indicated. After the pre-operative preparations he was operated on, then followed early rehabilitation, and after that he was referred for further treatment in rehabilitation centers.

Dejan is unable to move independently or perform basic life functions.

He needs funds for spa treatment and rehabilitation, physical therapy, orthopedic aids, medicines and supplements, as well as for additional care.
