Nina was born prematurely in 34th week, weighing only 1550 grams, from a pregnancy complicated by bleeding, for which the mother was hospitalized at maternity ward Narodni Front. Intrauterine fetal arrest was then observed and anomalies were seen. After birth, she was placed in isolation under oxygen therapy, and deformities of the musculoskeletal system were immediately noticed. She was transferred to the Institute of Neonatology for further diagnosis and treatment, and then to University Children Hospital Tiršov. Nina was diagnosed with: bilateral congenital dislocation of the hip (Q65.1 Luxatio coxae bilateralis congenita), clubfoot, twisted inwards (Q66.0 Talipes equinovarus), fusion of fingers, unspecified (Q70.9 Syndactylia, non specificata) and ventricular septal defect (Q21.0 Defectus septi ventriculorum cordis) and congenital soft larynx (Q31.5 Laryngomalacia congenita).

So far, treatment for bilateral hip dislocations has been attempted at UCH Tiršov, but unfortunately without success, so her mother plans to perform hip and foot surgery in the private hospital.

Funds are needed for operative treatment, specialist examinations, laboratory analyses, rehabilitation, orthopedic aids, medicines, supplements and medical consumables.
