raises funds for Andrija Delić (2020).

Andrija is the second child, born after the fourth, controlled pregnancy complicated by the mother's fever ten days before delivery and the mother's gestational diabetes. He was born prematurely by emergency caesarean section at 27/28th week, after birth without spontaneous respirations, aspirated, ventilated with an Ambu bag, intubated and transferred to the Institute of Neonatology where he was treated for 3 months. He had a cerebral haemorrhage and neonatal convulsions. At the age of one month, surgical treatment of a congenital heart defect was performed. MRI of the head indicated hypomyelination in relation to calendar age, initial cerebrum volume reduction of deep white matter, pontocerebellar hypoplasia. He was diagnosed with: spastic diplegic cerebral palsy (G80.1 Paralysis cerebralis spastica diaplegica); premature ossification of the sutures of the skull bones (Q75.0 Craniosynostosis); mixed specific developmental disorders (F83 Disordines evolutionis specifici mixti); slow physiological development (R62.- Insufficientia evolutonis physiologicae).

Andrija is being treated and monitored at the "Đorđe Kostić" Institute for Experimental Phonetics and Speech Pathology, at the Clinic for Neurology and Psychiatry for Children and Youth, as well as at the Special Hospital for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Neurology. He is involved in intensive physical treatment. He establishes contact for a short time, speaks, but there are no meaningful words. He is interested in toys. He moves by crawling while taking the sitting position independently from the four-legged position.

Andrija needs continuous rehabilitation and treatments, which his parents are no longer able to finance, so they are asking all generous people  to help Andrija so that he can stand on his feet and start walking as soon as possible.

Funds are needed for continuous rehabilitation treatment that includes physical therapy, work with a defectologist, a speech therapist, specialist examinations, bio-therapy, treatment abroad, as well as for travel and accommodation costs during the  treatment.
