Damjan is the fourth child born after the fourth regularly controlled pregnancy, which ended in the 39th week by caesarean section due to the mother's sudden bleeding. After birth, he was resuscitated for two hours, and in the third hour, he was taken from the maternity hospital accompanied by a medical team to the neonatal intensive care unit at the NIŠ hospital. He was treated and examined at the Clinical Center Niš for severe perinatal asphyxia, and therapy was prescribed for convulsions. He was diagnosed with: cerebral palsy (G80.- Paralysis cerebralis), symptomatic focal epilepsy and epilepsy syndromes with complex partial seizure (G40.2 Epilepsia idiopathica (focalis) (partialis) et syndromata epileptica cum impetu complexo partiali), mixed specific developmental disorders ( F83 Disordines evolutionis specifici mixti).

He is being monitored by a child neurologist, head control and motor functions have not been established. Damjan does not follow with his eyes, does not walk and does not speak.

His  parents financed one stem cell treatment abroad, after which a slight improvement occurred, but it is not enough. It is necessary for Damjan to go for a few more stem cell treatments and to have a fibrotomy operation according to Ulzibat, but the family has exhausted all funds and is appealing to all generous people to help them with their donations so that Damjan can continue his treatment as soon as possible.
