Pavle was born after the third, twin pregnancy that ended in 36th week during which his mother was undergoing therapy due to thrombophilia. He was placed in an incubator after birth. Due to the deterioration of the general condition and suspected pneumothorax, he was put on oxygen therapy via a mask. He started to sit at 10 months and was walking at the age of 20 months.

However he was diagnosed with Specific disorders of speech and language development (F 80.2 Disordo orations (receptivus and expressiva)).

Pavle makes eye contact. The scale for assessing psychophysiological development, determined a deviation from developmental norms in the level of development of receptive and expressive speech with the presence of scarce social interaction. He only utters a few words. He has a demonstrative gesture and his understanding is developed for the simplest verbal commands. He attended speech therapy treatments that gave results in the organisation of behaviour and improvement of communication, but did not give significant results in the development of expressive speech.

In order to speak, Pavle needs continuous speech therapy and defectology treatments, as well as daily attendance at kindergarten for socialisation and the acquisition of adaptable knowledge and skills.

Funds are needed for specialist examinations, laboratory analyses, medicines, vitamins, supplements, as well as for speech therapy and defectology treatments.
