raises funds for Radovan Božović (2019)

Radovan was born in term by emergency caesarean section. Immediately after birth, it was noticed a large defect above the skin level (Q 059 spina bifida aperta) in the lumbo-sacral part of the back and  bilateral foot deformity (Q660 Talipes equinovarus).

Twenty days after birth, he was admitted to neurosurgery at the Children's Surgical Clinic due to dysraphism of the lumbosacral part of the spine, which was not verified prenatally. In the same period, he was operated on due to sacral myelomeningocele. Paraplegia (G820 paraplegia flaccida) was also determined.

In April 2023, he had surgery on both Achilles tendons.

Radovan needs surgery to derotate both legs in order to be able to walk. He moves with difficulty with a disturbed walking pattern, which causes problems with his knees, hips and spine.

Funds are needed for corrective surgeries, specialist examinations, therapies, diapers, medicines, supplements, medical cosmetics, physical therapies, laboratory analyses, travelling and accommodation costs during the treatment.

Since the cost of treatment exceeds the family's income, all generous people are asked to help with their donations.
