She was diagnosed with epilepsy when she was two months old (G40.1 Epilepsia idiopathica et syn. Epileptica cum umpetu simplici partiali).

MR examination of the endocranium indicated a disorder of cortical development with MR features of hemimegalencephaly of the right cerebral hemisphere with grossly dysplastic and disorganized cortex and irregular white matter of the right frontal lobe.

Sofija was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (G80.1 Paralysis cerebralis spastica diaplegica) and tuberous sclerosis (Q85.1 Sclerosis tuberoza).

It is necessary to raise funds as soon as possible for the continuation of the treatment and the planned operation abroad, for that reason her family appeals to all generous people to help Sofija with their donations.

Funds are needed for specialist examinations, physical therapy, speech therapy treatments, surgical treatment, cognitive therapy, treatment abroad, as well as for travelling and accommodation costs during the treatment.
